Creative Learning Center strives for each individual child to learn as a group and on an individual basis. We encourage each child to learn at their own pace.

JANUARY - Winter Unit: Snow, Ice, Mittens,Gloves, Jackets, Polar Bears, Penguins 

                     Forest Animals Unit: All forest animals,  Hibernation, Nocturnal and Diurnal Animals, etc

FEBRUARY - Dental Health Unit: Teeth, Flossing, Brushing, Cavities

                       Presidents, African American History, and Multi-Cultural 

                       Valentines Day Celebration: Card Exchange

MARCH- Story Book Theme Unit: Dr. Suess and Eric Carle

                                                          St. Patrick's Day

APRIL - Spring Unit: Insects, Reptiles, Frogs/Toads, etc

Life Cycles Unit: plant life, animal life, etc

Easter

MAY - Animal Unit: Pet, Zoo, Farm, Forest, Ocean, etc.

Five Senses Unit: Sight, Sound, Smell, Taste, Touch       

JUNE - Community Worker Unit: Police Officer, Firefighters, Doctors, etc.

             Transportation Unit: Planes, Cars, Hot Air Balloons, etc.

JULY - Summer Unit: Vacations, Beaches, Picnics, Barbecues, etc.

AUGUST - Solar System / Dinosaur Unit:  Space, Earth, Moon, Fossil, etc.

SEPTEMBER - All About ME and Health:    First Impressions, Family and Friends, Emotions

Nutrition Unit: Healthy foods, Fruits and Vegetables, Exercise, etc.    

OCTOBER - Color and Shapes Unit: Learning all shapes and colors 

                     Fall Unit: Fire Safety, Pumpkins, Halloween, etc.

NOVEMBER - Harvest Unit: Fruits/Veg., Native Americans, Pilgrims, Thanksgiving 

DECEMBER - Holiday Traditions Unit: Freezing Temps, Christmas, Santa, Jesus, Hanukah, etc.
